Washington coach Ron Rivera understands the significant job he faces in attempting to change the culture of an NFL franchise many have considered toxic. Recently, the Washington Post in-depth sexual harassment charges by five previous employees, hammering home the need for modification.

Part of that modification consists of finding a brand-new name. The franchise announced Thursday that it will briefly be called the Washington Football Team. Chief marketing officer Terry Bateman informed ESPN on Thursday that the procedure could take 12 to 18 months.
