D.J. Fluker, the veteran offending lineman for the Baltimore Ravens, apparently was the victim of a domestic assault previously this month, according to police in Baltimore.
Cops reacted to an event on July 13 in Reisterstown, Maryland, where Fluker told them that his sweetheart, Kimberly Davis, punched him in the nose throughout an argument over something that took place on social media. A witness confirmed the account.
Davis informed authorities that she poked Fluker in the nose but that she didnt mean to cause harm. She declared that the argument became heated when the witness said Davis was a bad mom to her and Flukers young daughter.
Davis was apprehended on a charge of second-degree simple attack.
Fluker informed cops at the time of the supposed attack that it was not the first time Davis had assaulted him. Video obtained by ESPN showed Davis consistently striking Fluker in late June throughout an argument over the care of their child.
The Ravens told Fox Baltimore that the team knows the matter.
“We have actually been in routine communication with D.J. regarding this matter and will continue to keep an eye on the situation,” the group said in a declaration.
