Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo ejected in fifth inning against Padres – Arizona Sports

The D-backs were down 1-0 at the time of the ejection.

With one out, designated hitter Kevin Cron got hit by pitch in the elbow. The umpire ruled that Cron stuck his elbow out and did not make an effort to get out of the way of the pitch.

Lovullo came out to speak with the umpire. After a minute approximately of arguing, he was ejected.

Arizona Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo was ejected for arguing an employ the 5th inning of the game Sunday against the San Diego Padres.

This is Lovullos 5th ejection as the manager of the D-backs.
