The Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics clashed on Friday night, bringing to life their age-old rivalry. But that wasn’t the only beef that was sizzling on the evening.
LeBron James and Enes Kanter are in the midst of a growing beef at the moment, with the Celtics big man recently calling out King James in a post on Twitter right before their matchup with the Lakers.
Money over Morals for the “King” 👑
Sad & disgusting how these athletes pretend they care about social justice
They really do “shut up & dribble” when Big Boss 🇨🇳 says so

LeBron James was asked about Kanter’s stance after the game, claiming he won’t waste any energy on him. He also revealed that the two had an encounter before the game started, but nothing came out of it.
Via ClutchPoints’ Michael Corvo:
“He’s definitely not someone I would give my energy to,” admitted the Lakers star. “Trying to use my name to create an opportunity for himself. He’s always kind of had a word or two to say in my direction.”
“As men, if you’ve got an issue with somebody, you really come up to them. He had his opportunity tonight. I’d seen him in the hallway, and he walked right by me.”
James feels as though he’s being singled out by Kanter specifically because that would create the most traction, and rightfully so. Regardless of Enes Kanter’s intentions, his callout certainly has the Lakers star’s attention now. What happens from here is anyone’s guess.
