Two times in their three-game series versus the Cincinnati Reds, the Detroit Tigers were held to 3 hits.

Crons magic was the perfect example of Gardenhires explanation. An effective swing that balance out some strikeouts. Somehow it worked in Cincinnati and now the Tigers get to see if they can continue it in Detroit throughout a nine-game homestand, beginning Monday versus the Kansas City Royals.
