When Nvidia introduced the paid tier of GeForce Now it triggered some controversy amongst game publishers, who saw it as a way for users to access copyrighted content without publishers consent, and several pulled their video games from GeForce Now. Nvidia updated its policy in May, requiring publishers and designers to choose in to the platform to have their video games offered to be played from another location on Nvidias servers.
The “bring your own video game” cloud service, which introduced its paid tier earlier this year, permits users to play games bought through other platforms– including Steam, the Epic Games STore, Battle.net, and Uplay– in the cloud. But browsing for video games in your Steam library that were suitable with GeForce Now was a little a slog.
The brand-new function will determine games in a users Steam library supported by GeForce Now and will include them to the “My Library” list within the app instantly, Nvidia says. To sync your Steam account with your GeForce Now library, go to Game Sync in Settings whenever you buy a new video game via Steam.
GeForce Now users can sync their Steam libraries to their accounts with Nvidias brand-new Game Sync feature. Compatible video games will appear in the My Library section of Game Sync, Nvidia revealed.
