A couple of months back, Misfit, among Fossils brand names that makes Wear OS watches and fitness wearables, hosted a sale that had us questioning if the future of the business remained in question. Today, theyve topped that deal and are essentially just handing out everything on their website.
Since this morning, Misfit has slashed the rate of their leading tier smartwatch, the Vapor X, to $14.99 ($ 245 off). Thats not a typo. It costs $15 if you purchase the Vapor X without watch bands or a battery charger. It still will just cost you $39.99 ($ 240 off) if you desire a watch band and the capability to charge.
The Misfit Vapor X runs a Snapdragon Wear 3100 and has a complete set of specs that matches the Fossil Sport. Simply put, its rather contemporary, but lacks the 1GB RAM that many Wear OS watches need to actually run well. Its a slick-looking watch, however, fits most wrists with an affordable 42mm case, and is an absolute steal at this cost.
The rest of Misfits smartwatches are on sale too. The Misfit Vapor 2 and initial Vapor are $15 without bands or $30 with them. All of the Misfit watch bands are likewise discounted to $4.99.
Again, Im unsure what Misfit depends on, but this sure appear like a good time to purchase a Wear OS watch at toy prices to offer a trial run.
