Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One S/X Schematics leaked – Wololo.net

What appears to be the schematics for the Xbox One (S and X models), and, possibly more damaging, the schematics for the Xbox Series S/X, Microsoft’s most recent consoles, have leaked online.

The documents cover only specific revisions, but seem to be fairly recent.

They reference the consoles as follows, using internal project codenames:

Xbox OneS

  • PCB assembly Kief Retail (24/04/2018)
  • Kingston (18/01/2016) rev 1.01

Xbox One X

  • Cactus (20/04/2017) rev 0.991

Xbox Series S

  • Stockton (25/06/2019) rev 0.12

Xbox Series X

  • Toledo SB (12/08/2019) rev 1.04
  • Toledo SoC (05/11/2018) rev 1.03

These schematics could possibly be used by unofficial repair shops for console maintenance, or possibly by hardware tinkerers looking to reverse engineer some aspects of Microsoft’s consoles. It is a bit unclear how much damage this could cause to Microsoft down the line, but there is no doubt that these files where not intended for public consumption.

A word of advice if you are a reverse engineer though: depending on your situation, and where you live, accessing this kind of information could breach any concept of clean-room design for you or your team, putting your project at legal risk. It is advised you do not try to fetch these documents unless you really know what you’re doing (from a legal perspective).

No download links here, for obvious reasons.
