Tiger Woods, he’s just like us.
Tiger Woods scarfed down a sandwich at Southern Hills while waiting on the 14th tee box (he started on the back nine) as he played early in the first round of the PGA Championship on Thursday.
Woods was seen chatting with playing partners Rory McIlroy and Jordan Spieth while chowing on a nice-sized meal, which left the ESPN announcers hysterical.
“Stop at the sub shop? What are we doing?” host Scott Van Pelt exclaimed.
“That’s not a power bar? It’a full-on breakfast,” analyst Dave Flemming responded.
“That looks like a Reuben. It’s 9:15!” a laughing Van Pelt responded.
Woods went on to hit an impressive shot and roll in a birdie putt to move to 2-under through five holes. However, he finished the back nine at even par after bogeys on 15 and the difficult 18th.
