Trail Blazers’ Damian Lillard Claims Unanimous Bubble MVP Award – Blazers Edge

The Athletics Shams Charania provided the results of the second and first group ballot following the news concerning Lillards MVP status.

Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard was voted the Bubble MVP for his efficiencies in Portlands eight seeding video games. According to Yahoo Sports NBA Expert Chris Haynes, Lillard got first-place votes from all 22 writers who provided a ballot.

Lillard averaged 37.6 points, 9.6 assists and 4.3 rebounds per game throughout the NBA restart. In a five-game stretch to close Portlands seeding schedule, the previous Weber State star crossed the 40-point threshold on four celebrations.

Together with MVP honors, Lillard earned an area on the All-Restart very first team. Outside of Lillard, Trail Blazers Digital Reporter Casey Holdahl revealed that coach Terry Stotts finished in second in Coach of the Bubble ballot.
