For one thing, in any other year we would have understood about the new video game months ago. It simply stops being fun when its dragged on too long, and when we all pretty much know what the video game is going to be currently anyways.

For how long can you really drag out teasers for a recognized trick? Not this long, thats for sure. For some in the neighborhood, solving this extended puzzle is probably a great deal of fun, but for many it just starts to feel like Activision and Treyarch merely arent all set to reveal off a game thats allegedly releasing in simply a couple months.

Instead, we have unlimited teasers. Practically every day now we have some new teaser turning up, with coordinates to a bunker in Warzone or some mystical note or video footage or projector slide.

And its getting old.

Personally, while I value the creativity that goes into these, I d rather simply have the video game announced with little or no fanfare at all. I simply have really little interest in viewing tape after tape of old footage to discover concealed numbers and secret coordinates.

I like a great puzzle. I love a handful of teasers to keep gamers thinking before a big expose. The occasional countdown timer or series of cryptic images. A secret can be enjoyable. It just stops being enjoyable when its dragged out too long, and when all of us pretty much understand what the video game is going to be currently anyways.

For some in the community, solving this extended puzzle is probably a lot of fun, however for lots of it simply starts to feel like Activision and Treyarch merely arent all set to show off a video game thats apparently launching in simply a couple months.

Personally, while I value the creativity that goes into these, I d rather simply have the video game announced with little or no excitement at all. Is this something you delight in or would you rather just see the video game in action?

Whats your take on all this? Is this something you enjoy or would you rather just see the game in action? Let me understand on Twitter or Facebook.

The Call Of Duty community is mostly aware that the next video game is a return to the Black Ops universe and that it will be set throughout the Cold War, most likely throughout Vietnam or at least partly throughout that war. Its possible it will cover numerous years or perhaps several decades– Black Ops 2 jumped back and forth in between 2 various eras, after all.
