Some Liverpool fans will not be very eager to see Bayern equal our third-best 6 European Cups, however honestly Im not that bothered. The Champions League is a hard competition to win. And being on level pegging with Bayern (or rather, having Bayern catch up to us!) only highlights how massive our own historic and current accomplishments are.
Being a Champions League winner elevates a club. Only 22 clubs have won the competitors, and just 12 have actually won it more than when. Its an elite competitors for elite clubs. And personally, I d more than happy to keep PSG and all other sportswashing PR arms of petrostates far from the biggest trophy in club football.
