Rossi will be starting Sundays race in ninth position ahead of his fellow Andretti Autosport motorist Colton Herta in tenth, but behind colleagues James Hinchcliffe, Ryan Hunter-Reay and pole-sitter Marco Andretti.

The 2016 Indy 500 champ shared a picture on Twitter of the golf cart his group uses to navigate the infield at the track missing its tires and resting on concrete block. Nevertheless, the tires were stacked on the roofing of the RV parked next to it.

IndyCar driver Alexander Rossi had the tires stolen off his car at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Wednesday early morning and discovered them close by, however the culprit is still on the loose.
