After attempting to make a declaration about modern warfare, the Call of Duty franchise is returning to a more remote dispute. On Wednesday, series publisher Activision shared the first teaser for Call of Duty: Black Ops: Cold War ( correct title punctuation to be figured out).
Activision promises to share more about the new entry, consisting of gameplay video, on August 26th. Till then, the teaser offers a number of hints about the video games story. Consisting primarily of archival video footage of a TV interview with KGB defector Yuri Bezmenov, the teaser says the story is “influenced by real events.” Text sprinkled in between the video footage points out Perseus, a Soviet spy who presumably penetrated the Manhattan Project throughout the height of World War II to steal secrets related to the atomic bomb.
