Patrick Beverley, hampered by a lingering left calf strain, ruled out for Game 2 by Clippers – ESPN

The LA Clippers ruled Patrick Beverley out for Game 2 due to a sticking around left calf pressure.
Coach Doc Rivers stated the teams beginning point player was not moving well in the morning shootaround. He was contributed to the afternoon injury report as doubtful prior to the group downgraded him to out.
Beverley suffered the injury on Aug. 4 versus the Phoenix Suns and missed the last five seeding games for the Clippers. He played in Game 1 against Dallas however was restricted to 20 minutes due to five personal fouls.
