The Seahawks went back to practice on Thursday, following a day off for the group on Wednesday. Prior to Seattle headed onto the field to begin, head coach Pete Carroll met reporters on a Zoom call. Heres what we learned from Carrolls media session and practice on Thursday.

It was a lighter session for the team, as they increase for the mock game this weekend.

Freddie Swain, Poona Ford, and Demarcus Christmas remained out on Thursday, while Phil Haynes returned. Chris Carson got what appeared to be an organized day of rest, while Danny Etling still has to go through COVID-19 screening protocol.

Carroll on Brooks: Hes practicing today. On Brooks, Carroll stated strategy is to get him more work today and hope he can take part in the mock game Saturday. Carroll pointed out earlier Blair hadnt gotten numerous at security yet doing most of work at nickel.

With Dunbar fully getting involved, Blair had the ability to move back to safety and get some representatives at his natural position.

Carroll offered more clarity on first-round pick Jordyn Brooks health, after the linebacker remained with a groin injury earlier in the week. Carroll said it could have been more of a cramp than a pressure. They intend to have him get involved in a mock video game Saturday.
