Missing father of Cincinnati Bengals Mackensie Alexander found alive in Florida – ESPN

CINCINNATI– The dad of Bengals cornerback Mackensie Alexander has been found alive in Florida, according to authorities.
Jean Odney Alexandre, 65, was found Thursday early morning after he approached a ranger station in Kissimmee Prairie Preserve State Park, according to the Okeechobee County Sheriffs Office.
Alexandre (the two guys have different spellings for their surnames) was reported missing on Monday in Okeechobee, according to authorities records. Alexandre was selecting palmetto berries with a friend he had actually known for more than 10 years when he vanished in the woods around 2 p.m. Monday, according to the event report. Authorities were unable to ping Alexandres specific area since he did not have a cellphone at the time.
Alexander left Bengals camp to help in the look for his father. On Tuesday, Alexander and another male, Evins Clement, were detained on a misdemeanor battery charge after allegedly hitting the male who went berry selecting with Alexanders dad.
Alexander, 26, was released on $2,000 bond Wednesday, according to Brian Pakett, who, in addition to Stacey Richman, represents Alexander. He is anticipated to plead innocent at a future arraignment date.
The Bengals signed Alexander to a 1 year contract worth $4 million this offseason. He was expected to be the teams main slot cornerback. The group released minimal comment after Alexanders arrest, saying only that it knew the situation.
