The list of games concerning Xbox Video game Pass in August and September keeps growing: designers Lucky Mountain Games and Sumo Nottingham have validated that Hotshot Racing launches in simply a few weeks on September 10th, and that itll join Xbox Game Pass as a day-one addition.
The Hotshot Racing group describe their video game as a “drift-centric retro throwback.” Creative director Trevor Ley says “this game has been on a huge journey for the past decade … We cant wait to see all the in-game leaderboards light up with the fastest times from players and see multiplayer servers full to the rafters!” Lucky Mountain Games seems to have some plans up its sleeve for post-launch content, and Ley adds that itll be “terrific to see what the world considers the video game post-September 10th.”Hotshot Racing has 16 circuits ranging from the coast to the jungle and the desert. Theres racing modes, such as Time Trial and Grand Prix, or the intriguingly-named Drive or Explode, which sets off a bomb if you dont drive rapidly enough. Another test of skill is the Cops and Robbers mode, where each robber caught becomes a cop, till theres just a couple of robbers left. Time Trial is single-player only, however every other mode offers single-player, four-player split-screen, and eight-player online.
