The injury news keeps getting worse for the Yankees. Aaron Judge is headed back to the Injured List and it doesn’t sound like Gleyber Torres will be back anytime soon.
On a Zoom call with fans Thursday, general manager Brian Cashman said Judge (calf strain) will be shelved twice as long as the first time he went on the IL and Torres (hamstring/quad) will be out from three-to-six weeks. Judge missed two weeks with his last calf strain, returning on Wednesday and leaving that game against the Braves with the same injury.

Giancarlo Stanton (hamstring) is still a week out from coming back and James Paxton (left flexor strain) “is a little far away” from his return.
There was some good news, however. DJ LeMahieu (left thumb strain) could be back for Sunday’s doubleheader against the Mets.
