At the end of the day, Tom Bradys Patriots departure mightve been the very best thing for everybody.
And, according to Boston Sports Journals Greg Bedard, some within the Patriots company werent heartbroken when Brady left for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during the offseason.
The future Hall of Fame quarterback was visibly bad-tempered throughout last season, which saw New Englands offense struggle with a depleted, unskilled getting corps. Whether it was due to the offenses problems or his looming agreement situation and totally free firm– or a little bit of both– Brady was not his regular self in 2019.
Have a look at this excerpt from his column published Saturday:
Eventually, Brady had a right to be upset. The Patriots did little to address their glaring need at receiver– the Antonio Brown stuff is a totally different conversation– and the franchise and head coach he provided whatever declined to dedicate to him long-lasting.
Still, there comes a time when an attitude problem surpasses mere sulky, and its apparent that Brady reached that point.
And I will admit to you that from what Ive heard since Tom Brady left, the Patriots did need an ambiance change in the locker space due to the fact that a dour Brady, which begin to surface at the end of 2018, took its toll on the Patriots last season. It was so bad that some of his teammates have undoubtedly independently that it was much better for all involved that Brady carried on if he was going to have the same attitude this season.
Naturally, a case can be made that Belichick and the Patriots were warranted in much of what they did, and continue to do as the franchise moves into a brand-new period.
