Tuszka, a seventh-round pick from the 2020 NFL Draft, is among the teams rookies to make the practice squad.

Under the brand-new rules of the cumulative bargaining agreement, NFL teams can secure four members of their practice squad every week to prevent opposing groups from signing them to their own active roster.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo.– A day after settling their initial 53-man lineup, the Broncos on Sunday signed 15 gamers to their practice squad.

Denver signed QB Brett Rypien, WR Trinity Benson, WR Fred Brown, OL Patrick Morris, T Quinn Bailey, T Darrin Paulo, T Jake Rodgers, RB LeVante Bellamy, RB Jeremy Cox, OLB Derrek Tuszka, Pound Josh Watson, S Alijah Holder, S P.J. Locke, CB DeVante Bausby and DL DeShawn Williams to the practice squad.

All 15 gamers took on the Broncos throughout training school, and numerous– including Brown, Morris, Rodgers, Watson, Holder and Bausby– have appeared in regular-season games for the group. Rypien also hung around on the active roster in 2019.

Additionally, teams can designate two players weekly to join their active lineups on game day. Game-day rosters can increase from 46 to 48 gamers under the new collective bargaining arrangement. If a gamer on the practice team rises to the game-day roster, they are not subect to waivers to return to the practice team.

The Broncos are qualified to add another player to the practice squad.
