The other day I had a great deal of retweets and reddit posts and such for playing Doom on a pregnancy test. But as I explained then, it wasnt actually PLAYING on a pregnancy test, it was just a video being repeated, not an interactive game.
Well, now it is. Its Pregnancy Test Doom! pic.twitter.com/Nrjyq07EVv.

You might be wondering, how the hell is this even possible on an extremely basic device such as a pregnancy tester? Well … it isnt. Foone is cheating a little; he had to change the pregnancy testers CPU and LCD, basically turning it into a far more powerful computer (still incredibly simple by todays requirements, however compared to a pregnancy test or a computer system from the early 80s, its quite powerful)..
Still, the entire exercise is so cool that we needed to share. Whats next, Crysis? Fingers crossed..
The existing CPU cant be reprogrammed and the existing LCD can just reveal 4 things, so I needed to replace both to make any changes. And the existing version doesnt even suit the shell! ( although Im certain it will when complete) pic.twitter.com/BVcC6OTxaq.

The tradition of running the legendary game Doom on different devices and devices that were not originally developed for gaming is long, however this one takes the cake..
Foone, a developer who likes reverse-engineering things and typically deals with ancient software and hardware, has managed to run a fully practical video game of Doom on an electronic pregnancy test..
After posting a video of the timeless video game working on the tester over the weekend, on Monday Foone upped the ante and launched a video of him really playing Doom on the tester, utilizing a wireless keyboard..
Well, now it is. Its Pregnancy Test Doom! You might be wondering, how the hell is this even possible on an extremely basic device such as a pregnancy tester? Still, the entire workout is so cool that we had to share.
The experience isnt really enjoyable since the pregnancy test has a 128×32 pixel grayscale display (see close-up below), but, surprisingly, it works.
