Numbers to know.

The following players are not being forecasted to play Week 1 at this time. Heres what it suggests:.

The 2020 novice running back class was jam-packed filled with talent. One might make an argument for Jonathan Taylor, DAndre Swift or J.K. Dobbins as generational talents. Clyde Edwards-Helaire was an elite college pass-catcher and landed in the very best possible situation. Camera Akers, Zack Moss and Antonio Gibson are all gifted too. So do not get too dissuaded when you take a look at where they fall in my Week 1 projections.
Edwards-Helaire is the only rookie running back I have predicted as a starter today, and if youve been following along this offseason, that shouldnt surprise you. Taylor, Akers and Swift all begin in backup functions, and its actually hard to forecast more than a bit function for them. Taylor is the highest ranked in non-PPR, however Antonio Gibson gets that difference in full PPR, and hes an overall wild card.

One novice has currently appeared on the top of his teams depth chart, and its a total surprise. You can read more about James Robinson in the waiver wire area.

Moss is the really interesting one. Reports out of Buffalo have been mainly glowing about Moss. The precise opposite about Devin Singletary, who has had a hard time holding on to the ball while Moss has actually sparkled as a receiver and a runner. Just like most groups, we d anticipate the rookie will be listed second at best on the teams first depth chart, which will make it hard to trust either back in Week 1. Still, Taylor and Moss face such a bad defense that I wouldnt blame anyone for starting them as a flex with hopes of one huge play or a boom in garbage time. I d prefer to not hope for trash time with my Week 1 starting running back.

20– Austin Ekeler balanced 20 touches per game in 4 games without Melvin Gordon in 2015. If hes anywhere near to that this season, hes a top-five back.

20.3– James Conner averaged 20.3 Fantasy points per video game from Week 1 of 2018 through Week 8 of 2019. Hes a No. 1 running back whenever hes healthy.

4– Boston Scott had four brings inside the 5-yard line and scored all five times. Miles Sanders scored two times on six attempts.

13.75– The Chiefs lead running back balanced just under 14 touches per video game in 2019. The Week 1 split will be something to watch.

29.75– Kevin Stefanskis Vikings averaged 29.75 rush attempts per game in 2019. Both Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt might be 1,000-yard rushers if he brings that plan to Cleveland.

33– Antonio Gibson had 33 profession carries in college..

5.7 — DeAndre Washington balanced 5.7 touches per video game when Josh Jacobs was healthy in 2015. The hope is that a number of those, in the type of receptions, now go to Jacobs.

The 2020 novice running back class was loaded complete of skill. Do not get too prevented when you look at where they fall in my Week 1 projections.
Edwards-Helaire is the only novice running back I have actually projected as a starter right now, and if youve been following along this offseason, that should not surprise you. As with a lot of groups, we d expect the rookie will be listed second at best on the teams first depth chart, which will make it difficult to trust either back in Week 1. I d prefer to not hope for garbage time with my Week 1 beginning running back.
