FC Dallas clash with Vancouver Whitecaps in MLS is Back Tournament postponed – ESPN

The match was initially arranged for July 9 but MLS stated in a statement: “The later match date will allow both groups extra training days in Orlando in advance of their very first match.”.

MLS announced that it has actually postponed the match between FC Dallas and the Vancouver Whitecaps at the MLS is Back Tournament till a later on, undisclosed date.

The group has been under quarantine considering that then, avoiding them from training.

Vancouver was originally arranged to arrive Wednesday, but the teams departure was delayed because of two undetermined tests for COVID-19 throughout pre-travel screening. The subsequent test results were validated to be unfavorable and the club will leave for Orlando on Monday.

Both groups will now play their very first matches of the MLS is Back Tournament on July 15, as FC Dallas face Seattle Sounders FC at 9 a.m. ET (ESPN, ESPN Deportes, TSN) and Vancouver Whitecaps FC face the San Jose Earthquakes at 10:30 p.m. ET (TUDN, TSN).
