Pre-order links will be offered early next week, Microsoft stated in its news release. The Xbox Series S– the smaller sized, disc-less console– will cost $299. The more powerful Xbox Series X will cost $499. Both consoles can be bought on a payment strategy that consists of 24 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, with Xbox Series S at $24.99 for 24 months, and Xbox Series X at $34.99 for 24 months.
On Wednesday, Microsoft tossed a little shade at its competitor, Sony, which had a disorderly pre-order craze. “Dont worry– well let you understand the precise time pre-orders begin for you soon,” Microsoft tweeted. Soon after timing and prices for the brand-new PlayStation consoles was revealed on Wednesday, pre-orders began surprise-opening at particular retailers, in spite of official word saying it d begin Thursday. Sites crashed, and consoles rapidly sold out.
