Alabama Crimson Tide names Mac Jones starting QB for opener – ESPN

Mac Jones will be Alabamas starting quarterback when it opens the season Saturday versus Missouri, coach Nick Saban revealed Monday.
Jones, a redshirt junior, began four games last season when Tua Tagovailoa was hurt. Jones tossed for 327 yards and three goals without any interceptions during a 35-16 win over Michigan in the Citrus Bowl.
