San Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey is considering pulling out of the MLBs truncated 2020 season depending upon how the coronavirus pandemic unfolds over the next couple of weeks.

” Im going to watch whats going on and keep interacting with my wife and pay attention to whats walking around me here at the ballpark and whats going on in the country,” Posey stated. “I d be surprised if you asked any gamer if they provided you a hard-lined, No method, Im not going to pull out ever answer.”

Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Mike Leake and Washington Nationals first baseman Ryan Zimmerman are two of the most significant names who have officially decided not to play this year.

” I believe theres still some reservation on my end,” Posey stated at a team practice at Oracle Park on Saturday. “I desire to see how things progress here over the next couple of weeks. I think it would be a little bit silly or maybe ignorant not to assess whats going on around you. Many certainly Ive thought about it and talked about it with my other half quite a bit.”
