Week 3 should be fun – assuming our favorite NFL players don’t wind up injured – with a hefty serving of compelling matchups on tap.
The undefeated Rams and Bills will meet in Buffalo on Sunday afternoon. The Cowboys tee it up in Seattle later in the day, before the Packers and Saints conclude the weekend action at the Superdome.
But the main course comes Monday night, when the reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs take on the Ravens in Baltimore in what could be an AFC championship game preview – six of our seven panelists predicted as much prior to the season.
The outcome could also determine the site of the AFC title showdown in January, head-to-head records determining such things when playoff teams finish with equal records.
Throw in the opportunity to watch the league’s most recent MVPs, Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson, go toe to toe – Jackson has a 21-3 regular-season record, but two of those losses came courtesy of Mahomes and the Chiefs – and you have the makings of quite a heavyweight bout.
