New York Giants believe Los Angeles Rams CB Jalen Ramsey threw first punch in postgame melee with Golden Tate – ESPN

New York Giants coach Joe Judge thinks it was Jalen Ramsey of the Los Angeles Rams who threw the very first punch in the postgame melee Sunday that involved Golden Tate.
Tate defended himself as the two players went to the ground before players and coaches from both teams separated the 2, who have a history with each other.
” First off, I dont desire [co-owners] John Mara, Steve Tisch or anybody associated with this team to need to deal with something like this after the video game,” Judge stated Monday. “This isnt why we play the video game. We have 60 minutes to beat the hell out of each other lawfully between the whistles. We dont need anything additional after.

2 Related” I talked with a variety of our players, and clearly we saw some video on [it] and guys that were included, and I sort of had an eyewitness viewpoint for myself after me and Sean [McVay, the Rams head coach] had an exchange at midfield. I turned around and it was sort of happening right there in front of me. I got a fast glance of it right there.
” Look, all I have to say is the account I obtained from a variety of our players– there is a history undoubtedly in between them, and there was a punch thrown. Golden was protecting himself. I was told he wasnt the one who threw the punch. And everybody involved was trying to break it up.
” I can state that both our players and the Rams personnel and gamers, from what I saw with my own eyes, existed attempting to break it up. I didnt see anything going on in the pile. … Guys were trying to break it up.”
The league is evaluating the matter, however suspensions are not anticipated for either player, a source informed ESPN. The Giants do not prepare to discipline Tate, disallowing any brand-new information.
