The No. 4 ranked Florida Gators are off to a 2-0 start to the 2020 season and will have their toughest test of the season coming up. Florida is set to travel on the road to take on the No. 21 ranked Texas A&M Aggies. Florida is coming off a win this past weekend over South Carolina while Texas A&M is coming off a loss to Alabama on the road. The Gators and Aggies will kick off from Kyle Field at 12:00 p.m. ET and the game will broadcast on ESPN.
The Gators also revealed their jersey combination on Thursday evening for their game this weekend. The Gators will wear white away jerseys along with blue pants with their traditional orange helmets.

***Pregame Notes***
– The Gators are seeking a seventh consecutive victory, and a fifth straight win in SEC play — which would be its longest winning streak against SEC opponents since opening 2012 with six wins over league teams.
– UF’s 89 points this year are ties its highest total in a two-game stretch against SEC teams since the start of the 2009 season. The 2010 Gators scored 89 points in an overtime win over Georgia (34-31) and a blowout at Vanderbilt (55-14).
– Florida dropped from No. 3 to No .4 in the AP Top 25 — still its highest rankings since a three – week stretch from Oct. 8-22.
– In addition to consecutive top-10 finishes in the AP Poll for the first time since 2008 and 2009, the Gators are coming off consecutive seasons with at least 10 wins for the first time since 2008 and 2009 (both 13-win campaigns).
– Florida ranks second nationally and leads the SEC with 7.8 yards per play through its first two games.
– Florida is also averaging 7.8 yards per play since the start of Dan Mullen’s first season, which ranks eighth among Power Five Conference programs and 14th among all FBS programs. UF’s 6.5 yards per play last season ranked 16th nationally, far and away its best average since 2009, when it averaged 7.0 yards per play.
– The Gators’ 44.5 points per game this season rank fourth nationanlly and second in the SEC.
– Since Mullen took over in 2018, Florida’s 34.9 points per game ranks tied for eighth among Power Five programs.
– In addition to having scored 35-plus points in its last four games, Florida scored at least 35 points in consecutive games against SEC teams for the second time since the start of 2009, with the other occurrence coming in 2012, when UF beat Tennessee, 37-20, and then Kentucky, 38-0.
– Florida ranks fifth nationally with a 190.51 passer rating this season, and redshirt senior Kyle Trask is sixth individually (196.42). Since the start of 2018, the Gators rank eighth among all FBS teams with a 155.3 passer rating.
– UF is also tied for fourth nationally with 10 touchdown passes, only trailing teams which played three games. All 10 touchdowns are from Trask, who is tied for second nationally behind Texas’ Sam Ehlinger (14 in three games).
– Junior tight end Kyle Pitts is tied for the FBS lead with six touchdown receptions. The only other FBS player with more than three touchdown receptions in fewer than three games played this year is LSU’s Terrace Marshall Jr. (four).
– According to ESPN Stats & Info, Pitts’ six touchdowns are tied for the second-most over a two-game span by ANY SEC player over the last 25 seasons. The only player with more was Vanderbilt’s Earl Bennett (seven in 2005).
– UF is one of three SEC teams featuring four different players with a receiving touchdown. Last year, 10 Gators had one, and 11 Gators had one in 2018 — 2000 and 2001 was the last time 10-plus Gators had one in consecutive seasons.
– Florida is seventh nationally with 357 passing yards per game, putting it on pace for a historic passing season.
– UF finished 2019 ranked 16th nationally in passing offense (300.8 yards per game), which was the first time in nearly two decades it threw the ball that consistently. UF’s highest national finish in passing offense since the start of 2010 was 79th (in 2016), and it finished outside the top 100 in four of the nine seasons from 2010-18.
– Florida last finished in the national top 25 in passing offense in 2004, when it was 14th (271.1 yards per game).
