Junkyard Gem: 1996 Acura 3.5 RL, Rocky Mountain Rambler 500 Edition
Honda had an excellent sales run with the Acura Legend, the very first of the luxury-marque spinoffs from popular Japanese carmakers to appear on our shores, but times modification and the RL changed the Legend as Acuras flagship beginning in the 1996 model year. The Rocky Mountain Rambler 500 involves a lot of punitive off-road driving, so cars and trucks that have no business on the dirt appear to get coolness points. Since the ignition key is still in the switch, Im presuming it wasnt running so well after the group and the rally decided to bid goodbye to their Acura in the lowest-hassle way possible: sell it to the nearby U-Pull-&&-Pay.
