The Broncos bye week was initially set up for Week 8. By having their bye week get risen three weeks, the Broncos home matchups versus the Dolphins and Chargers were relocated to various weeks in the season, the league revealed in an updated schedule on Sunday. The Patriots had no other modifications to their schedule.

Starting quarterback Drew Lock has missed the teams last 2 games due to a shoulder injury he suffered in Week 2. He was noted as doubtful for the game arranged on Monday, but Broncos head coach Vic Fangio stated he “didnt think he wouldve played” if the game was still on for Monday. Fangio did include that Lock is “advancing well.”

By moving the game back a week, the Broncos and Patriots will hold their bye week this week. For the Patriots, their bye week was initially scheduled for Week 6, when their matchup versus the Broncos will now be played.

Throughout bye weeks, NFL groups generally do not hold 3 practices. The Broncos still held three practices today because their video game against the Patriots was still set up to be played this week. Because their centers were closed on their typical practice days after Stephon Gilmores favorable COVID-19 test, the Patriots held just one practice this week.

Entering their match with the Patriots, the Broncos have 11 gamers on injured reserve. Five of those gamers are starters, consisting of star linebacker Von Miller and pass receiver Cortland Sutton, who are both out for the remainder of the season.

Broncos linebacker Bradley Chubb appeared frustrated at the truth that the group hasnt had a favorable test for COVID-19 yet is still being punished.

A few Broncos gamers took to Twitter on Sunday to voice their annoyance in the league postponing their match against the Patriots, which was very first moved from Sunday to Monday.

The NFL revealed Sunday that its postponing the Broncos-Patriots matchup a 2nd time, moving the video game back from Monday to next Sunday, Oct. 18. It will still be dipped into Gillette Stadium.

” Aint no chance we practiced all week and they canceled our video game,” Broncos running back Melvin Gordon composed in a tweet.
