Apple Releases watchOS 7.0.2 With Battery Drain Fix – MacRumors

Apple today released watchOS 7.0.2, the 2nd upgrade to the watchOS 7 operating system that came out in September. watchOS 7.0.2 comes more than 2 weeks after the release of watchOS 7.0.1, a bug fix upgrade.

watchOS 7.0.2 can be downloaded for complimentary through the devoted Apple Watch app on the
iPhone by going to General > > Software Update. To set up the new software, the Apple Watch needs to have at least 50 percent battery, it needs to be placed on a charger, and it requires to be in series of the iPhone.

According to Apples release notes, watchOS 7.0.2 addresses a bug that could cause the battery in the Apple Watch to drain more quickly, which has been a consistent problem given that watchOS 7 was released.
