Ravens coach chewed into Zac Taylor after Bengals kicked FG to prevent shutout – Cincy Jungle

When the Bengals kicked a basket down 27-0 in the last minute of Sundays loss in Baltimore, it obviously checked off some of the Ravens training personnel.

In an interview with ESPN reporter Jamison Hensley, Ravens protective coordinator Don Wink Martindale said he chewed out Bengals head coach Zac Taylor following the decision to kick said field objective, preventing the shutout that Baltimore honestly deserved with how completely they controlled Taylors offense.

” He understood what it was due to the fact that it was awful peaceful when I yelled it across the field. There are some people that take that as a victory. Well see. Well have plenty to talk about the next time we play them.”

To reveal you how rare it is for a team to choose a basket down 4 ratings in the closing minute of the 4th quarter, Hensley included this tidbit to his story:

On to Indianapolis.

Still, this is a really dumb thing to be distressed about. Once again, the Ravens and whining go hand in hand, so no genuine surprise to see this.

With Cincinnati routing 27-0, Bengals coach Zac Taylor selected to kick a 38-yard field objective with 37 seconds left in the game. It marked only the 5th time since the 1970 merger that a team kicked a basket in the final minute to prevent a nothing, according to ESPN Stats & & Information.
