WASHINGTON (NEXSTAR)– On Friday early morning, Pfizers president revealed the business would not get emergency situation authorization of its coronavirus vaccine prior to late November– successfully ending any theory a vaccine might be ready by the November 3 election.

Pfizer states it will require to gather safety and manufacturing data which pushes its timeline to request permission until the third week of November, at the earliest. Dr. Albert Bourla, the companys chief executive, said in an online declaration that Pfizer should understand in the next couple weeks if its vaccine works.
