Charles had become part of MSIs life for over 20 years; I have had the satisfaction of meeting with him quite often in my journeys to Taiwan and Computex, along with an extensive HQ trip when MSIs video gaming brand was very first beginning– we discussed the upcoming development of virtual reality and how MSI wanted to produce the worlds first VR-ready notebook. Charles constantly had time to listen to my industry ramblings, and was constantly keen to showcase how he viewed the industry with his years of insight. He will be missed.
It is on an unfortunate note that we are finding out that MSIs President and CEO, Charles Chiang, has died. Charles played CEO a little over a year ago in January 2019, having directed the huge success of MSIs Desktop Platform Company Division and the development in the companies Video gaming branding and laser focus these previous couple of years.
