A video shared Tuesday showed Boston Dynamics well known robotic canine, Spot, matched with its semi-humanoid sibling, Pepper, cheering at a Japanese baseball video game. And not just one Spot, and one Pepper– there was a little army of the robotic pets and humanoids, using hats, waving flags, and in the case of the Spot robots, uh, wagging their behinds.

Boston Dynamics is owned by Japans Softbank, and the bots were cheering for the business group, the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks, at a video game versus the Rakuten Eagles, according to SoftBank. Because there are no human viewers due to the coronavirus pandemic, the robots perk up the otherwise-empty stands.
