After partnering up with McDonalds to give fans a literal taste of his favorite quarter pounder with bacon meal, world renowned artist Travis Scott is now turning our eyes back towards his forthcoming footwear collaborations. In partnership with Nike, it appears that the Houston-born artist will be teaming up with Japanese video game imprint Playstation to collaborate on the ever-popular Nike Dunk Low. Teased today via Instagram, a 37-second black and white clip shows cuts of various Playstation employees rocking his past Jordan 1 Low collaborations, and ends with Scott himself rockin’ the mystery pair as he fires up the new PS5 console. As far as we know, the iteration appears to be crafted with a light grey base, angelic overlays, and black Swooshes, the latter of which is reversed on the lateral side to keep consistent with his past AJ1 creations. Additionally, the lateral heels are marked with the Playstation emblem as a nod to the joint partnership.
The last time Playstation linked with Nike was back in March for Air Max 90s for the debut of MLB the Show 20, but if this pair sees a retail release, there’s a good chance that excitement over these will be through the roof. Peep a first look right here and stay tuned as we gather more information regarding its official launch.
For other news, the Alyx Nike Air Force 1 High Black is dropping on 10/24.
