PlayStation Plus free games for November 2020 revealed – Polygon

The next two games available for free with PlayStation Plus are Middle-earth: Shadow of War and Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition, Sony announced Wednesday. The two games will be available on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in November. In addition, PS5 owners will get Bugsnax on Nov. 12, the console’s launch date.

Bugsnax is a PlayStation 5 launch title from developer Young Horses. In it, players will take on the role of a journalist who is hunting down secrets about Snaktooth Island’s dang tasty bugs. It’s also coming to PS4 and Windows PC, but only the PS5 version will be included with PlayStation Plus.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War was released in 2017 for PlayStation 4, Windows PC, and Xbox One. The game, like Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, is based on J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings world. It’s a direct sequel to Shadow of Mordor, which came out in 2014. The RPG is developed by Monolith Productions and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.

Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition, on the other hand, brought Hollow Knight to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It includes the base game and additional updates. Hollow Knight debuted on Mac and Windows PC in 2017, but the console port was released in 2018.

These games (Middle-earth: Shadow of War and Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition) will join the PlayStation Plus lineup on Nov. 3. Until then, October’s free games — Need for Speed: Payback and Vampyr — are still available free for Plus subscribers.

PlayStation Plus is available for $59.99 for 12 months, or for $9.99 a month. It gives subscribers access to two free games monthly, as well as access to online multiplayer and other discounts.
