Retired football player Jay Cutler endorses Trump for president – Page Six

Jay Cutler is endorsing President Donald Trump.

The former Chicago Bears player, 37, reposted golfer Jack Nicklaus’s letter in support of Trump that described how “disappointed” he had become at the criticism the current president has faced and captioned it, “Never a doubt.”

“He has delivered on his promises. He’s worked for the average person,” Nicklaus wrote in his letter. “In my opinion, he has been more diverse than any President I have seen and has tried to help people from all walks of life—equally.”

Nicklaus’ letter acknowledged that Trump’s incessant tweeting might be a turn-off for many but encouraged everyone to look past that because “his love for America and its citizens, and putting his country first, has come through loud and clear.

“How he has said it has not been important to me. What has been important are his actions. Now you have the opportunity to take action,” the letter continued.

Cutler, who was once rumored to be dating Fox Nation host Tomi Lahren, previously expressed his support of Trump after he won the 2016 election.

“I’m happy with the results,” Cutler said at the time. “I’ve supported Trump for a while. I’m not going to dive into it. I know it’s a sensitive issue, but I like where it’s going.”

Cutler’s ex, Kristin Cavallari, hasn’t publicly reacted to his endorsement, but Lahren responded in the comments, writing, “Freedom over everything.”
