Detroit Tigers right-handed pitcher Michael Fulmer required only 25 pitches to smile.
He got Wednesdays start from manager Ron Gardenhire to lead the house Tigers against the checking out Tigers in an intrasquad scrimmage. The previous American League Rookie of the Year tossed 2 innings and 15 strikes.
