Snow Australia validated the terrible news in a statement, which read, “The Snow Australia community is surprised and distressed by the sudden passing of triple Olympian, Alex Pullin, who today lost his life while spearfishing on the Gold Coast this early morning. Our deepest condolences are with Alexs household, in addition to his group mates and support personnel.”.
Regional authorities informed Australias 7 News that another scuba diver situated Pullin unconscious on the sea floor and called out to neighboring lifeguards for aid. First responders performed CPR on the professional athlete for 45 minutes prior to he was declared dead on the scene.
