Just over halfway through the 2020 college football season, the Alabama Crimson Tide is right about where everyone expects them to be on an annual basis. At 6-0, Alabama is ranked No. 1 in the country.
The Crimson Tide were off this week ahead of next week’s showdown with bitter rival LSU.
The first six weeks have been all about Alabama’s offense. The Crimson Tide rank No. 3 in scoring offense — averaging 47 points per game, while also ranking No. 3 in total offense.
A big reason for Alabama’s success in 2020 is quarterback Mac Jones. In fact, the junior quarterback has emerged as the favorite for the Heisman Trophy, according to BetMGM.
Unfortunately, star wide receiver Jaylen Waddle was injured two weeks ago in the win over Tennessee, making life a bit more difficult for Jones and the Tide.
