The Phoenix Suns have agreed to a one-year deal with guard E’Twaun Moore, according to The New York Times’ Marc Stein.

That deal for Moore will pay him $2.4 million, per Stein.

The 31-year-old Moore gives the Suns another ball-handler to provide depth behind Chris Paul and Devin Booker. Last season for the New Orleans Pelicans, Moore averaged 8.3 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game.

Moore brings an offensive punch to the second unit. He’s a career 45.5% shooter from the field and 39.0% at three-point range, a combo guard that knows how to pick his spots offensively.

The nine-year veteran has played for four different NBA teams, spending his last four seasons with New Orleans. He’ll compete with guards Cameron Payne and Jevon Carter for minutes off the bench.

Phoenix has had a strong offseason, acquiring Paul before reportedly agreeing to a three-year deal with forward Jae Crowder.
