Good news for those who would like more aircraft to enjoy in Microsoft Flight Simulator, as two prominent new birds have been released.

The first is the classic of the classics, the famous Blériot XI by Wing 42.

Dated 1909, it was the first heavier-than-air aircraft to cross the English Channel.

You can see what it looks like below and purchase it at the Wing 42 store for $23.70.

The second new aircraft is another by veteran developer Carenado, the PA44 Seminole.

It may not as be as historically relevant as the Blériot, but it’s well-known as a very rookie-friendly twin-engine general aviation aircraft.

It’s priced $29.99 and it isn’t sold on the web. You’ll have to go find it in the official marketplace within the game.

You can take a look at a few pictures below.

As an additional bonus, today we get to take a look at a few more pictures from DC Designs showing off the upcoming F-15.

At the moment, the developer doubts that they’ll be able to launch it before Christmas due to “the need for a suitable launch slot at Just Flight, and also the need for the manual to be re-done prior to the launch to match the new aircraft performance and operation.” Development has also been slowed down by the fact that the SDK is still work-in-progress.

During an event a few weeks ago, the developers of Microsoft Flight Simulator shared a lot of details about future planstalked about the success of the simulator defining it as a “thriving platform,” and detailed the upcoming world update focusing on the United States, which we know should be coming with update 7 on Nov. 24.
