Alabama-LSU game expected to be rescheduled for next week – AL.com

Alabama and LSU will end up getting a chance to play this season after all.

The game, which was originally scheduled for Nov. 14 but postponed due to LSU COVID-19 issues, is expected to be rescheduled for next Saturday (Dec. 5), sources have confirmed to AL.com.

The news was first reported by Yahoo Sports.

Alabama had been set to play Arkansas next week. That game is expected to be moved to Dec. 12. LSU, meanwhile, had been scheduled to play Ole Miss. That game is expected to be moved to Dec. 19.

It means that this is current expectation from a schedule standpoint these next few weeks for the No. 1 ranked Crimson Tide, the 3-3 Tigers and Ole Miss, which enters this weekend 3-4:

Alabama — Auburn (Saturday), LSU (next Saturday), Arkansas (Dec. 12)

LSU — Texas A&M (Saturday), Alabama (next Saturday), Florida (Dec. 12), Ole Miss (Dec. 19)

Ole Miss — Mississippi State (Saturday), open week (next week), Texas A&M (Dec. 12), LSU (Dec. 19)
