Should you buy a laptop on Black Friday?
Even though this year has been rather different in many respects, one thing is for certain: Black Friday is happening, and it’s perhaps the biggest sale we’ve ever seen on this holiday weekend, with surprisingly deep discounts across the board.
These discounts may not be here long—now that Black Friday has passed, deals will start to expire. If something resonates with you, we recommend that you scoop it up.
In-store shopping will also look different this year, thanks to social-distancing and store closure rules, meaning that you might not be able to snag the best deals if you’re not one of the first customers allowed inside.
You should also be aware that many major retailers’ return policies have been extended for the holiday season. If you buy a laptop this weekend, chances are you’ll be able to return it through some point in January 2021.
