Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt Red released a trailer for the game’s robust photo mode on Wednesday — and it’s looking like it’s the best way to fully appreciate your customizable character. Cyberpunk 2077 is a first-person game, meaning you’re not going to see a whole lot of your character outside of cutscenes. But there are still plenty of ways to show off your character with the photo mode.
The trailer, which dropped on YouTube, shows off a ton of different features and abilities. In the heat of battle, you’ll be able to pause the game and take photos, manipulating your character with different poses, lighting effects, depth of field, and stickers. The options feel endless — there are sliders for category, pose, expression, aperture, and plenty more.
One particularly cool moment from the trailer has the player causing an explosion, pausing the game, and posing their character for a dramatic scene. See for yourself in the video above.
Of the poses, there seem to be plenty to choose from, including some themed around Sailor Moon and Run the Jewels.
Cyberpunk 2077 is out Dec. 10 on Google Stadia, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. In late November, CD Projekt Red announced that Cyberpunk 2077 players would be able to transfer game saves forward to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, should they choose to start the game on a last-gen console. However, there won’t be many major differences between the console generations, aside from some performance and visual adjustments. An optimized version for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X is coming later, “sometime in 2021,” according to the developer.
