The Utah monolith continues to puzzle people across the country, just about one week after experts discovered it in the remote Utah wildnerness.
- Brands have joined in one the meme-ification of the Utah monolith, joking about what the mysterious object might be.
McDonald’s was the latest company to talk about the monolith, sharing a picture of what looks like the object but has been remade to look like a touchscreen menu.
- The account tweeted: “welcome to McDonald’s what can i get you?”
McDonald’s is only the latest company to get involved with sharing memes about the Utah monolith. Southwest Airlines, MoonPie and Steak-umm also shared their thoughts about the monolith, as I wrote about for the Deseret News. All of the brands tweeted pretty cheesy jokes about what the Utah monolith really is.
At the same time, “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” host Guy Fieri tweeted that the monolith was a fork that could have been sent to Flavortown.
- “BREAKING: Another mysterious monolith appears, this time in @flavortown,” he wrote on Twitter.
