But Mary-Kate Olsen appeared calm and collected on Thursday, when she was seen stepping out in New York City in an all-black ensemble.
The former Full House star, 34, donned a large black trench coat and oversized black trousers that spilled over her boots all the way to the sidewalk.

The Row co-founder clutched a black alligator skin purse and wore a matching black face mask as coronavirus rates continue to spike around the country.
Mary-Kate looked understated and chic, with her light brown tresses worn down and parted at the middle.
The celebrity sighting comes one day after Olsen dined alfresco with her twin sister Ashley.

The pair gained fame and notoriety as child actors portraying Michelle Tanner on Full House in the 80s and 90s, before eventually gravitating toward the world of fashion.
While Ashley largely stopped acting in 2004, Mary-Kate remained active in Hollywood for a bit longer.
She appeared in season three of the Showtime series Weeds, the underrated Ben Kingsley film The Wackness in 2008, and lastly in 2011‘s Beastly starring Vanessa Hudgens.

More recently, Mary Kate is in the midst of a high profile divorce from husband Olivier Sarkozy, 51.
Mary-Kate will be facing off against the half-brother of former French president Nicolas Sarkozy on December 15 as they try to settle their divorce.
The focus of their court battle is their $13.5 million NYC townhouse, which they own together.

In Olsen’s divorce petition, which she filed in the New York Supreme Court in May, she claimed she had been effectively kicked out of their rented apartment.
The residence in the Gramercy Park neighborhood.
Sarkozy had reportedly not renewed the $29,000 a month lease during the height of the coronavirus outbreak.
They also own a sprawling five-bedroom and 4,000-square-foot home in Bridgehampton on Long Island worth millions.

Sarkozy moved his ex-wife Charlotte Bernard, their two children and his mother into the Bridgehampton home, meaning Olsen could not stay there.
In the petition Olsen asked for continued use of the Bridgehampton home, their home in Gramercy and another home on East 49th Street in Manhattan.
Sarkozy and Olsen got together in 2012 and married in 2015.
